14th Month

Andrew likes to drive the Tonka truck back and forth in the living room. He needs help turning the corners so he lets me know when he reaches the end of the road. He uses sign language movements more during the past week but only mimicking us. I hope he will start using them on his own. Communication can be so powerful.

On Tuesday we went to the Imagination Station park in Collegedale. They swing and even slid on the baby slide for the first time. This is the first time we've been to this park since they started crawling. They enjoyed exploring the wood chips and the noise they can make on the metal slide. It has a large fenced area for the small children so I could let them have some freedom.

This picture was taken at Sabbath School. When we first started attending, I couldn't imagine what they were getting out of it. It was a lot of work for us to stand up and carry them to the board, etc. The songs are not very fun for us either. Now that they are crawling and a year old, the boys like going to class. Even if they are tired, which is normal since it's during nap time, they enjoy the activities, songs, and decorations. It is worth the effort to attend.
